Art appréciateurs gathered by the hundreds Friday evening for The Walker Art Center's unveiling of Kara Walker's "My Complement, My Enemy, My Oppressor, My Love". The exhibit features the artist's signature black-paper silhouettes as well as film animations, projections and other paper-works.
The Walker went above and beyond to entertain, with delicious appetizers and drinks as well as a special tracing lab where party-goers could get in on the creative action. You know how much l'étoile loves to decorate a good wall!
The exhibit runs through May 13th before it travels on to New York and Los Angeles.
