Dirty 30 @ The Hex

The Hexagon Bar was jolted with the electro dream rock stylings of Solid Gold, old school dance music from Tendercakes, and surprise appearances by Vampire Hands and POS from Doom Tree. But this was more than just another rockin' good Saturday night at the Hex: local music publication Rift Magazine celebrated their 25th issue, and Minneapolis music lover and sassy l'étoile staff writer Robyn Lewis (see babe in many pics below in blue and white tank top!) celebrated her Dirty 30th b-day.

Hot Roxx B-day Bash @ The Hex

The best in local music joined forces with the best (and worst) of the 70's and beyond last month for the 1 year b-day party for Hot Roxx at the Hexagon Bar. DJ's Macku$ and Jen spun solid gold rock n' roll in between local bands such as Thunder in the Valley, The Nightingales, and Vampire Hands - all playing 70's inspired sets.
